Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19th, 2008) was an American theatre, film television, voice actress. [1] Pleshette began her professional career in the theater and then began to appear in films in the late 1950s and later appeared in films with a prominent name such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). She also appeared in numerous television productions, often in guest roles, and she was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette is the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born on January 31, 1937, in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish and descendants of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
