Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk - a talented actor, writer, director and producer. Her father comes from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories involve attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother's her job. In her early years, Anna played in commercials for a number of companies.
