Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist as well as a businesswoman. She was co-founder of The Huffington Post, is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Thrive Global as well an writer of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, TV personality, television philanthropist and author for more than ten years. Her birthplace was Greece she came to England when she was 16 and then graduated at the age of 16 from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. In her 21st year, she was the president of the renowned debating society The Cambridge Union' and was the first non-native student to do so. She was a conservative syndicated author after her graduation and, with The Huffington Post launched a year after, she created an online platform for voice that included criticisms about political events. Arianna was able to attract many prominent contributors to share their perspectives on culture as well as politics. Arianna became famous after she was elected independently in a recall campaign in California for the seat of then-Governor Davis. At 16 years of age she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her studies and enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. She joined the Cambridge Union college debate society as a student, where she was the 3rd and only female to hold the position of president. Her graduation was in 1972 and she earned an MA in Economics. She worked as a music critic television host, as well as a columnist following her graduation.
