Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19th, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. to a family of 12 poor children who would grow up in the same household, figured out very early on how to conquer of her difficulties by using her rich and vibrant imagination. Songs were written by her before she was able to write and read. The guitar that she first received was presented to her at the age of eighteen. She started singing at the Knoxville Tenn station by the age of eleven. Gold Band Records is a small, independent label. Even though she became an established local celebrity while at High School, she knew her dreams were greater. The day she was able to graduate from high school, it was 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first record to chart for the first time on Monument Records. Porter Wagoner had been looking for female performers for his show that was syndicated at this point. Parton was hired in the year 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, she joined the Grand Ole Opry. Then, in 1974, she left The Wagoner's Show due to the popularity of her own songs such as Joshua Coats Of Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Parton was a part of the group that split after the end of their partnership with Wagoner, wrote"I Will Never Love You and saw it climb to No. Its first appearance at No. 1 was 1974.
